To help ensure the bag remains intact for the whole 2-weeks between collections: Keep your wheelie bin out of direct sunlight where the heat would accelerate the break-down process. Avoid putting grass cuttings into the liner until nearer the collection date. This material is the most likely to start the liner break-down, due to the heat generated as it starts to compost down, so if in contact for 2 weeks, the liner may show signs of break-down and leakage before being emptied.
