Heritage Collection Pea Alderman is a well known and reliable heavy cropping heirloom. Pods may contain up to 11 succulent superb flavoured peas. Tall growing so supporting the plants is essential. Maincrop maturity. Height 150-180cm. These are recommended for deep freezing and exhibition.Type: Vegetable Cropping: 80 days Sowing:Sow March to June every 10 days for succession. Sow seed 5cm deep in flat-bottomed drills spacing the seeds about 2.5-5cm apart and in rows 150cm apart. Growing: When plants are 1cm tall erect strong supports at each end of the row and attach pea netting or chicken wire.Aftercare: The pods will be ready to harvest about 12-13 weeks from sowing. Pick regularly for higher yields and to extend the picking season. Quantity: 250 seeds
